Heaven's Escalator

Heaven's Escalator is an arcade game about a person who just died and is on their way to heaven. The demons fear that you have the potential to become God's strongest warrior. As you climb, it will become more challenging. I hope you took the time to learn what to do on the lower levels.

If you have a keyboard press the left, right, and up arrow keys. If you have a game pad use the left, right, and up d-pad buttons.

To fire the Bible's beam, you will need to press the space key or the left shoulder button (L1) on the gamepad. You can only use the Bible's beam once you have killed demons with spikes to obtain blessings and there is a demon on the screen.

There are a few things to note before you play and comment.

This game is simple, yet very hard to master. There is an Ironman Challenge. The requirement is that you get to level 37 without blessings while streaming. Afterward, you will need to leave a comment that you completed it and a link to the video. No, bots! We know your bot can do it, but can you? I'll let you know when that gets increased due to updates to the game.

I turned on the full-screen button because some people were having issues with the arrow keys. You may also be in a browser in which caret browsing is on by default. all you have to do is hit F7 to turn it off.

There are a couple of minor bugs I knew about that I am going to fix after the game jam. Also, I will be adding more to the game after the game jam.
